Hi Alexa, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?

I feel like a lot of people experienced a shift during the pandemic. You either got with it or got lost. That was definitely the case, at least for me. Like many others, I was struggling economically when COVID hit. Previous to the pandemic I was working nightlife, bartending almost every day until 5 am. When the bar I was working at was shut down due to quarantine – I thought id have a couple of weeks off to unwind and restart. Weeks turned to months and I started to get desperate. I realized it was time to…
